Dear Friends and Neighbors,
There have been an alarming number of crimes taking place in our neighborhoods lately and this Community Block Watch has been formed to alert and educate our community in hopes to keep our families, community and homes as safe as possible. In order to deter these criminals we need to stand together. We need to let it be known that they are not welcome in our neighborhoods and if they show up we will be watching them! This blog is a very good way to share information with your family, friends and neighbors about what is happening on our very own streets. Together we can make a difference!
If you would like to check the City of Columbus Division of Police's Offense Reports click here for instructions. You can look at any Offense Report by clicking on the Report Number.
We will be having a Block Watch meeting soon and we will also have flyers to pass out in our neighborhood. Anyone interested in helping can contact me at powellblockwatch@aol.com. If you do not want to physically help at least PLEASE spread the word to all of your family, friends and neighbors in our community! I will post more information regarding flyers and a meeting as soon as possible!
