10.29.12 UPDATE ON RECENT BURGLARIES

 

As of yesterday, 10.28.12, the Columbus Police have been able to recover stolen property from 4 of the burglarized homes in our area and have arrested two people.  In light of these developments, the minor who was arrested on Felony RSP charges last week is now possibly facing 4 counts of Burglary which, if convicted, could put him behind bars where he belongs!!!  This is great news but we still need to be on high alert since it is believed that he is part of a gang and possibly a theft ring. 

Since the suspect is a minor I can not post any information about him on this blog but if you would like to email me at powellblockwatch@aol.com I would be happy to direct you to his Facebook page where he blatantly brags about stealing from people and how he isn't going to stop and he also says he is "strapped" which is slang for carrying a gun!  This is one guy you do not want to see lurking around your house!  He has been seen in several suspicious vehicles including a white "creeper" van and a maroon, 4-door Monte Carlo.  Keep your eyes and ears peeled if you see either one of these vehicles and or the suspect!
